With Green Deal high on the agenda and its launch expected in October, it will be just one of the topics up for discussion alongside heat pumps & solar, professional development, smart metering and many others.
A complete schedule is still to be confirmed but the exhibition will feature a commercial theatre including CPD points, Green Deal theatre, training theatre, water efficiency theatre, solar theatre, installer theatre, domestic theatre and a showcase of energy efficient technologies.
Event organiser Dan Ceasar said: “There is considerable uncertainty in our marketplace and it is our intention to cut through the confusion. For example, we have industry experts such as the Green Deal Skills Alliance, the Microgeneration Certification Scheme & the Building Research Establishment updating us with keynotes on the Green Deal, MCS & the Code for Sustainable Homes and this barely scratches the surface of what’s on offer.
“We believe that the Renewables Roadshow exhibitions are unique in that, as visitors register to attend we ask them about the key issues they want covered and we adapt accordingly. This approach has already provided us with invaluable insights for this Autumn.
“Unsurprisingly, the Green Deal is a key issue and as such we will be devoting an entire theatre to the Green Deal, but perhaps more unexpected are the high levels of interest in other topics. It is now our objective to ensure that whether it’s information, innovation or inspiration you’re after the Renewables Roadshow has it covered.”
