As a result of this, Segen has created the Solar Thermal Designer Tool, an online tool that supports installers when configuring domestic and small commercial systems using Dimplex equipment. The designer tool is intended to aid the order process, highlighting the recommended elements to save both time and money.
Andy Pegg, ceo of Segen, said: “We are committed to providing quality renewable energy technologies at competitive prices to MCS certified installers and associated companies. Moving further into the solar thermal market and expanding Segen’s product offering into this sector will significantly enhance the range of products offered. With added Government incentive support, we believe that investing in solar thermal technologies is on-trend, profitable and sustainable.
“Setting up the Segen portal to support Solar Thermal enables our customers to see real time stock availability, fully manage orders end to end and receive both pre and post sales support when designing and installing Solar Thermal systems. Potentially relevant products are highlighted when an order is being made, saving vast amounts of time for the installer during the design and ordering stage. Orders can be made 24/7, and the products on offer are of an exceptional standard.”
