Solarlec sold 132 systems – 1,848 individual panels – in the month of October which only just falls short of the record month the company experienced earlier this year before the reductions began to the Feed-in Tariff.
According to Solarlec, the 132 homes will amass total savings of £20,219 in just 12 months in electricity bill reductions and receive £47,690 through the Feed-in Tariff.
Ged Rowbottom, director at Solarlec, said: “The cost of panels and other equipment continues to drop dramatically so solar panels are still a fantastic investment. We’ve had a busy few months so our installation teams will enjoy their break over Christmas but we’re already looking forward to a bright 2013.”
