The assessment was carried out by the Energy Saving Trust – an official UKAS accredited body which provides Green Deal certification.
John Fairweather, Anglian’s sales director, said: “We are delighted in our achievement of PAS 2030:2012 which formally opens the door to the Green Deal and ECO markets. Achieving this standard was relatively straightforward as we already hold an integrated management system and the Investors in People accreditation.
“We selected the Energy Saving Trust as our audit body; their approach was thorough and professional, but remained friendly and helpful throughout the process.”
Tom Lock, certification manager at The Energy Saving Trust, added: “The Green Deal is a great opportunity for installers across all sectors. Getting certified is an essential first step to working under the Green Deal – and the Energy Saving Trust is one organisation making sure that only trusted tradesmen can operate as part of the scheme.”
