According to the company, it took over four months to develop and can be used by people at all levels of the supply chain.
The programme can also be used by homeowners. After property details and current fuel type details are entered, the software will then suggest a Solfex Prestige Solar Package based on the information provided.
All information is available in PDF format allowing installers to print off the information and hand it to protential clients.
Managing director, Stuart Cooper, said: “I have personally been involved with this project from the offset and we wanted to provide a calculator which produces relevant solar thermal system information that is useful for all users. Not only have we done this, we have also provided great features to make the purchase of these systems easier.
“We will add other useful information to the software such as RHI payments and new solar thermal collectors we plan to launch in the coming months.”
