The half day events were held in places as far apart as Inverness and Exeter and allowed representatives from housing associations, local authorities and other interested parties, to hear from Mitsubishi Electric and quiz the company’s own technicians.
The company also took its mobile display vehicle to each venue so that attendees could not only hear from other social housing providers about the technology but could see it in action.
“We have been working closely with several housing associations and have developed a good understanding of many of the issues they face,” said Graham Temple, marketing manager for the company’s heating division.
“We have now met with hundreds of key staff from housing associations right up and down the country and the feedback from attendees shows how much they have welcomed this approach.”
He added: “We are now looking at plans for next year so if anyone was not able to get along this time, they should get in touch so we can see what demand exists for another tour.”
