Baroness Verma, representing the Department of Energy and Climate Change and David Carver, chairman of NHIC were on hand to present the award.
“We were delighted to receive this recognition as we have worked hard to make Ecodan suitable for both new buildings and old,” said Martin Fahey, sustainable solutions manager who collected the award.
“It was particularly encouraging that the judges acknowledged how the technology can help hard pressed households reduce their energy bills.”
