The recognition is awarded to individuals who have sustained high levels of achievement, for example through leadership, influence, senior responsibility, innovation, and professional service, at the forefront of engineering, technology or cognate disciplines for a period of five years or more.
Martin Cotterell said: “It goes without saying that I am thrilled to receive this recognition and I look forward to continuing to engage with my peers within the IET to help shape the future of the renewable energy industry. It is all part of my quest to drive improvements and raise standards within this vital industry and to encourage others to do the same.”
