Specflue launch new generation HIUs
Branded as DATA, the units have been designed for better performance and ease of use in properties where domestic hot water and heating is supplied through a district heating system using a boiler. Delivering the same benefits as a HIU, they have the capability to communicate digitally with each other, offering greater efficiency and control.
Specflue says DATA is one of the smallest HIUs on the market and can be installed within a standard kitchen cupboard. Each unit can produce 75kW domestic hot water and 20kW indirect central heating.
DATA is designed to operate from primary flow temperatures as low as 65 degrees celsius, and can harness technologies including biomass, heat pumps, solar and CHP.
