The awards celebrate outstanding achievements from across the UK’s thriving electronics sector. They shine a spotlight on those who have made a remarkable contribution to the industry through revolutionary design, research, innovation, or inspiring leadership. Recognising ambition and impact, each finalist has been chosen for their skill, judgement, integrity, and values.

A true industry disruptor, the judges were impressed by Jordan’s role in scaling myenergi from the ground up. Since founding the business in 2016, Brompton has helped to build the company from a micro tech start-up to one of the UK’s fastest-growing smart home energy tech businesses—renowned for designing and manufacturing a pioneering ecosystem of first-to-market products.

Slashing grid reliance

From the world’s first solar-compatible EV charger, Zappi, to the Eddi power diverter, Harvi energy sensor, and Libbi modular smart battery, myenergi products are installed in hundreds of thousands of homes worldwide. Capable of slashing grid reliance and maximising self-consumption of renewable energy, each device is specifically designed to help achieve home energy independence.

Brompton commented: “As society transitions towards the decarbonised, decentralised, net-zero world of tomorrow, myenergi remains at the very forefront of eco-smart home energy management. Our products are built on a commitment to circularity and a vision of sustainability for generations to come.

“Being shortlisted in the Women Leaders in Electronics Awards is such an honour, especially considering the incredible calibre of the other finalists. While it may be my name on the nomination, it’s really a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the entire myenergi team.

“Growing from a small team of passionate change-makers manufacturing products by hand in a countryside workshop to a multi-national business shipping thousands of units every week, our journey has been a total whirlwind. We’ve only just begun, and I’m so inspired for the years ahead.”

The 2024 Women Leaders in Electronics Awards winners will be announced at a ceremony on Tuesday, 23 April, at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden.
