REHAU to showcase product role in future of low carbon heat at industry event

REHAU is set to highlight the role that its pre-insulated pipe systems have in the future of district heating and heat pumps at the upcoming InstallerSHOW at the NEC in Birmingham.

Taking place from 25 to 27 June, REHAU will be at stand 5H47 throughout the event, with the RAUVITHERM pipe system taking centre stage.

RAUVITHERM’s flexibility make it the perfect solution for a variety of different applications, from heat pumps to small – medium heat networks. These two uses are critical to national decarbonisation goals, especially as recent statistics show that the UK district heating market share is currently less than 3%, but it will need to reach 20% by 2050 to hit government targets.

As well as this, the Government is targeting over 600,000 heat pump installations a year by 2028, which will require an easy-to-use and effective pipe system for externally located heat pump systems. When these systems are located away from homes, pre-insulated pipe is required to transfer heat to the property with minimal heat loss.

Steve Richmond, Head of Marketing & Technical at REHAU UK, said: “The InstallerSHOW is the perfect venue to highlight our RAUVITHERM pipe system to installers looking at ways to add heat pumps away from the property or smaller heat networks.

“Alongside this, we will also be showcasing solutions for district heating, commercial heating, cooling, and more. Our expert team will be on hand to answer any of your questions about our entire product portfolio.”

Throughout the show REHAU will be hosting a competition to see who can make a REHAU fitting in the fastest time. Participants will have a quick demonstration on how easy it is to install REHAU’s pipe fittings, before going against the clock themselves. The fastest time each day will win a £150 Love2shop voucher.
