Ground source heat pump industry to come together at annual conference and dinner

The latest developments, technologies and policies affecting the ground source heat pump sector will be covered at an industry event this September.

The Ground Source Heat Pump Association (GSHPA) is busy finalising the line-up for its annual conference and charity dinner, both taking place at the University of Warwick in Coventry on September 24.

Industry leaders, professionals and enthusiasts will come together to hear from expert speakers, take part in informative sessions and network with peers.

Conference topics will include advancements in heat pump technology, sustainability practices, and market trends, providing valuable insights for professionals seeking to stay at the forefront of the industry.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Will Rivers, Carbon Trust
  • Ed Sherriff, Welsh Government
  • Nathan Gambling, Renewable Energy Podcast host
  • Geothermal Energy Organization (representative to be announced)
  • Nicholas Thurston, Environment Agency
  • Joanne Eynon, principal manager for Mine Heat Licensing at the Coal Authority

With more speakers to be announced, the conference promises to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state, and future prospects, of the ground source heat pump industry.

The daytime conference will be followed by the association’s annual charity dinner; an elegant event with a James Bond theme to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Hosted by comedian and MC Colin Manford, the evening will include a gourmet meal, entertainment, and the chance to participate in a silent auction.
