Longer warranties
From September 1st to December 31st, the free warranty on the Vitodens 050-W and 100-W domestic boilers is increased to 10 and 12 years respectively, when products are registered on the Viessmann Installer Portal, while Viessmann Vitocal 150-A and 151-A air source heat pumps are now available with an extendable 10-year warranty (terms may apply).
Sales promotions for installers old and new, as well as merchants
No fewer than five new financial incentive schemes have been launched by Viessmann, to help installers and merchants make specifying the manufacturer’s products easier than ever. Applying to registrations/purchases made between September 1st and December 31st 2024 full terms and conditions can be found on the Viessman Portal. Installers should consult the portal for full terms and conditions.
There are also cashback/ account credit incentives for existing Viessmann installers and merchants and incentive payments for installers new to the brand.
Significant savings
Installers of Viessmann’s Vitodens 200-W light commercial boilers (49 or 60 kW) can take advantage of an exclusive £700+ pack discount for each boiler plus connection set (pump and LLH), as well as a new 10-year warranty, when purchased through a merchant and registered via the Viessmann Installer Portal
Installers wishing to use the Viessmann Access MCS umbrella scheme – which provides pre-commissioning (depending on product), commissioning and MCS-registration fee, can do so for a fee of just £600 for this limited time period, representing a saving of up to £749 excluding VAT.
“Backed by product and integration technology that the market is hungry for, Viessmann is taking a very serious market approach this heating season with this targeted package of sales incentives and warranty extensions,” said Chris Johnson, Director of Sales at Viessmann Climate Solutions UK.
“For many consumers, this is the autumn and winter in which they will seriously consider heat pumps as boiler replacements for the first time. It’s a great opportunity for our industry and we stand right behind every installer – whether they’ve worked with our Vitocal heat pumps before or not – to give them a leg-up, not just financially, but with our increasingly popular Viessmann Access MCS umbrella scheme, which takes out much of the hassle associated with the transition to installing heat pumps.
Easy boiler commissioning
In response to installer feedback, the latest evolution of Viessmann’s popular Vitodens gas-condensing boilers makes commissioning easier and quicker, requiring only a simple three-step commissioning process for the 050-W model and a six-step process for the 100-W.
The whole process takes between 10 and 20 minutes, including the waiting time for filling and venting. In an installer competition at a recent trade show, the fastest time achieved was just 18 seconds excluding the time for filling and venting, demonstrating just how quick and easy the process is.
The heat-only Vitodens 100-W model requires just a single step for commissioning.
The full 16 advanced commissioning set-up options, appreciated by some installers and end-users, are still available, allowing the specification of flue systems and lengths, hydraulic parameters and additional plug ins or controls.
“Viessmann has made this UK market-specific product improvement after listening to feedback from installers,” explained Chris Johnson. “The launch of the new Vitodens boiler range in 2021 heralded the introduction of digital boiler commissioning to the industry, with Viessmann pioneering the change.
“The new simplified process – designed specifically for the way in which installers have traditionally commissioned boilers in the UK – means Vitodens boilers are easier than ever to fit, and especially to those new installers we are continuously welcoming to the Viessmann brand.
“The Vitodens range, with its One Base control platform, is the most up-to-date specification on the market. With WiFi inside the boiler, it is a truly smart machine, enabling live interfaces and full control for both the installer and end-user. All this functionality is free and included in the boiler,” continues Chris Johnson.
