The new role marks a significant step in GTEC’s plans for expansion as the company aims to grow in new markets and enhance its training offerings.
Expanding with the support
Stacey Youatt, who brings a wealth of experience and energy to the role, will head up the company’s sales force as part of its growth strategy.
Stacey’s career began in car sales, where she quickly realised the importance of building strong customer relationships. She later honed her business management skills at Yell and MCFT before joining Ello Group as business development manager, where she focused on building sustainable partnerships.
Building GTEC’s future strategy
Stacey shared her excitement about the role: “It’s exciting to have joined a great business where my drive, tenacity, and motivation can really make a difference. GTEC is a blank canvas as far as a sales force goes, and I’m thrilled to be working as part of the team to develop their new strategy for sales.”
Currently, Stacey is immersing herself in GTEC’s operations to fully understand the business and its renewable training leadership.
“You need to be smart in recognising what your customers need and flexible and adaptable in delivering what’s required. I’m taking a deep dive into GTEC, learning about renewables and how the company has become a forerunner in renewables training,” she added.
A key appointment for GTEC’s future
Griff Thomas, GTEC’s founder and managing director, said: “Joining the ULG has opened-up considerable opportunity for GTEC, and we are currently on a mass recruitment drive to build the right team in order to realise the potential of this acquisition.
“Stacey is a great addition to this team. We’re excited to see where her expertise and drive will take us.”
