The rebrand reflects Gaia Energy’s expansion plans as it scales up to meet rising demand for energy efficiency, supporting the drive towards a low carbon future.
As part of its growth strategy, Gaia Energy is expanding its commercial solar division to help businesses across the North West reduce carbon emissions and energy costs. By installing solar panels and battery storage systems, the company enables organisations to generate renewable energy on-site, which can lead to significant savings on operational costs, as well as a lower carbon footprint and reduced reliance on the national grid.
Speaking about the company’s growth, Gaia Energy Founder and Managing Director Liam Gray, said: “Five years ago, we set out to provide energy efficiency upgrades at homes across the Liverpool City Region, with the aim of helping low-income households live more comfortably, save on energy bills and reduce carbon emissions. We’ve seen first-hand the impact of this essential home improvement work, which is helping change lives in local communities while supporting the journey to net zero.
“As we mark our fifth year in business, we’re proud of how far we’ve come and we’re looking forward to our next phase of growth with the expansion of our commercial solar team. The timing couldn’t be better for us to introduce a new name and brand identity, which will help position Gaia Energy as a key delivery partner in advancing the UK’s transition to a low carbon future.”
Gaia Energy is headquartered in carbon-neutral offices at Knowsley Business Park. The company powers its operations with solar energy and adopts bulk purchasing practices to reduce environmental impact. The company also supports the local economy by recruiting talent from the Liverpool City Region and working with local suppliers. Its new branding was developed in partnership with Liverpool-based creative agency Black & Ginger.
Founded by Liam Gray, with Steven Gallagher joining as Joint Managing Director in 2023, Gaia Energy maintains strong community links. The company sponsors Prescot Cables U8s football team and supports local initiatives such as Sefton Pantry, which provides food and clothing for vulnerable families and individuals.
