Elevion Group appoints new CEO for BELECTRIC UK

BELECTRIC has appointed Daniel Kiremidjian as the CEO of its UK subsidiary.

Daniel takes responsibility for the company’s development of large-scale solar farms and battery projects, from engineering and construction to ongoing operation and maintenance. BELECTRIC UK, based in Brinkworth, has installed major PV projects across the country, from Cornwall to Scotland. Prior to joining BELECTRIC, Daniel led development and commercial teams across the UK, Sweden and Finland.

Dr Thorsten Blanke, CEO of BELECTRIC, Member of Elevion Group, said: “Daniel has a proven track record in the renewable energy and battery storage sectors, as well as in-depth market knowledge. We are very pleased to welcome him to our company and are confident he will strengthen our position in the UK market.”

Daniel said: “I’m very excited to be joining the business at such a pivotal moment, as the UK mission to achieve net-zero continues to accelerate. I want to be part of a team which can really make a difference, and which thinks beyond day-to-day operations to always innovate and improve. Now is the time to deliver the next generation of solar and battery projects. BELECTRIC – with its vast experience – is strongly placed to be a major player in this urgent effort.”

Former CFO and Managing Director Alastair Bruce has left the company. Mariglen Nora, a member of the BELECTRIC board, is the UK’s new Managing Director.
