NG Bailey is investing significantly in its own estate to improve the sustainability of its offices, to both create better-performing buildings and use the properties as ‘test beds’ to benefit clients specifically.
Cal Bailey, NG Bailey’s sustainability director, said: “Renewable is energy is moving higher up the agenda each year as a consideration for constructing new buildings and renovating existing ones.
“Having MCS accreditation will benefit us in a number of ways, particularly when it comes to tendering for, and winning, contracts.
“For a while now we have to rely on third party contractors to install solar PV systems. This accreditation means our own teams can now undertake the installations ourselves.”
