The REC Peak Energy Plus Series has a nominal power output ranging from 240 Wp to 255 Wp whilst, according to the company, its innovative backside passivation technology improves performance by enhancing the solar cell’s response to red light.
REC says the Peak Energy Plus Series will perform particularly well in low light conditions and at high temperatures, producing additional energy during early and late hours of the day, in hazy conditions and in warmer climates.
“REC is excited to launch the REC Peak Energy Plus module which shows our commitment to developing innovative products that perform consistently in all conditions to help our customers save time and money,” said Luc Graré, senior vice president, sales and marketing, cells and modules, REC.
“We have built on the high performance of our earlier generation modules to develop a product that provides more energy per watt peak in higher temperature and in low light conditions.”
