The eKiss box and the smaller Mini eKiss Box can be used to generate power in offgrid areas such as stables, outbuildings, sheds, camp sites or holiday homes. The company says they are also ideal for governments, charities, philanthropists, and aid agencies wanting to fund electricity generation for families in the developing world.
Available in four versions covering a power range of 350W – 2,000 W, Antaris Solar says the eKiss is easy to install and uses maintenance-free AGM batteries for energy storage. Potential applications include washing machines, refridgerators, communication devices, TVs and even caravans.
Each eKiss box comes with three components – PV modules, inverters and batteries. Upto nine modules can be connected to the box.
