Infinite Energy completes its biggest installation

Infinite Energy has completed its biggest installation to date – 175kWp for a vegetable grower in Lincolnshire.

Mr Peter Craven and his brother Stephen wanted to be able to power their cold store using clean energy and have the work completed before the August 1st deadline when the Feed-in Tariff rate was reduced.

Infinite Energy installed a total of 700 panels which will supply an estimated 153,650kWh of energy per annum saving £9,500 on energy bills and 76 tonnes of C02.

Peter Craven said: “Infinite Energy had a huge project to undertake but the installation was completed efficiently and professionally well ahead of the 1st August 2012 deadline. I was very impressed with the speed of the install with everything arriving at the right time. Now I am able to generate an income from surplus electricity as well as reduce electricity costs for the cold store and cut the vegetable’s carbon footprint.”

Sam Tilly, managing director of Infinite Energy, added: “We had a challenge on our hands with this installation but I am pleased to say thanks to the efforts of my excellent team, who endured unusually rainy conditions for this time of year, it was completed ahead of schedule. I am very proud of the fact that Infinite Energy has completed one of largest roof-mounted systems in the country.”
