The announcement was made this morning at A Profitable Future in Renewables business strategy conference at The British Museum, London.

As a government endorsed scheme, MCS certifies microgeneration products and installation companies to ensure the microgeneration products have been installed and commissioned to the highest standard for the consumer. MCS is linked to the government’s finance schemes and incentives, such as the Feed-InTariff (FiTs), Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), or the Renewable Heat Premium Payment (RHPP).
Today’s news follows Gemserv’s selection in June to run the Green Deal Oversight and Registration Body (ORB) for the registration of assessors, installers and providers and monitoring compliance with the Code of Practice under the energy efficiency programme.
