The 200 modules were installed by Think Renewable Energy at the 300-year-old racecourse.
“The scheme will protect the racecourse from future energy price rises and will generate more than £5k in Feed-in Tariff income in the first year. It will also prevent 22 tonnes of CO2 emissions a year.” said Jamie Warden, operations director at Think Renewable Energy.
“We decided to use WINAICO panels, because of their excellent quality and reliability.”
