The contract includes the implementation of Ecolution’s Solar PV Performance Guarantee package, on four of these systems for one year.
The contract has been awarded following the successful collaboration between Ecolution Energy Services, Bellway Homes and Estuary Housing Association to install PV systems on Estuary housing stock.
Estuary HA has adopted Ecolution’s Performance Guarantee programme as an insurance policy to protect Feed-in Tariff income. If any of Estuary’s four systems fall short of their estimated annual production targets by greater than 90 per cent, Ecolution is contracted to pay back the difference to the Housing Association.
Debbie Collins, assistant director of development at Estuary Housing Association, said: “I have been extremely impressed with the knowledge and level of support that Ecolution has provided to us, especially being a new area of the business. We are looking forward to continuing working with them.”
Graham Loft, commercial manager at Ecolution Energy Services, added: “This is an excellent system for Estuary as it removes day-to-day issues such as obtaining meter readings and gaining property access as this is all done via a remote monitoring system. We have already been able to reduce costs and any system issue will be identified quickly so that appropriate corrective actions can be put in place.”
