The new show – Energy Saving Home Show – will be held at London’s Olympia between May 10-11 2014.
Managing director Dan Caesar explained the concept: “Tens of millions of homeowners have seen energy bills rocket in recent years. Whether it’s the cost of heating, hot water, electricity or even the price of petrol, the UK’s looming energy crisis means that consumers are powerless to prevent their bills from rising through the roof. With household incomes under unprecedented pressure, the average homeowner faces an energy crisis of their own.
“While government are working to stimulate demand, the energy saving industry continues to wait for consumer initiatives to succeed. Now is the time then, for our industry to stop waiting and start selling the financial benefits of ‘energy saving’ to the millions of homeowners actively looking to lower their bills.”
