Launched in 2012, 4Eco says the product has helped homeowners across the country to reduce energy bills and minimise reliance on mains supply.
The immerSUN works in partnership with microgen devices, such as solar PV and wind turbines, to direct green energy to immersion, storage, space or underfloor heaters.
4Eco estimates it has helped users to save a total of 20 million KWh – the same amount of energy that a small power station would generate annually.
“We’re delighted to announce such a huge sales milestone,” said Jodi Huggett, director at 4Eco.
“In a time of fuel poverty, where an estimated 10 percent of the population cannot afford to pay for utilities, we can’t continue as we are, relying on reserves and wasting huge amounts of energy every day. There is only one sensible solution – and that is switching to renewables.”
She added: “Eco gadgets and self-consumption technologies are the perfect solution, and reaching our 10,000th unit milestone demonstrates the UK’s ongoing commitment to making a change.”
