To infinity and beyond

Infinite Energy is pleased to announce the completion of over 200kWp of solar PV over five different sites with Space Station self storage.

Space Station has five sites and wanted to reduce its energy bills and CO2 emissions by installing solar PV panels.  Infinite Energy says it was recommended to Space Station and offered both a competitive quotation for the project as well as a monitoring package which was key to Space Station’s criteria for the installation.

Infinite Energy has installed a total of 205kWp using more than 850 solar panels across all five sites which will produce nearly 180,000kWh of energy per annum. It is hoped the measures will save over £10,000 on electricity bills and 100 tonnes of carbon emissions.

Now that this initial installation is complete, Infinite Energy is now assisting Space Station with its other ‘Greener policies’ and has recommended changing its light bulbs for LED light bulbs which will contribute further to reducing energy bills.

Kevin Prince, general manager at Space Station, said:  “Infinite Energy completed an efficient, professional installation from start to finish. Their surveys highlighted supplier and planning issues that needed resolving but they dealt with this without any fuss or down-time. It was a big project to undertake but Infinite Energy took the strain and led us through the whole process. I am very pleased we chose them.”

Sam Tilley, managing director of Infinite Energy, added: “I am so pleased that the multi-installation for Space Station went so smoothly and that they are already reaping the benefits of their solar panel installation.  We will continue supporting Space Station with their greener policy every way we can.”
