Among the highlights will be the first UK presentation of the company’s complete commercial storage suite (CSS), alongside updates to its residential PV software and hardware. SolarEdge will be located at Stand B25, Hall 19.
Introducing the commercial storage suite (CSS)
The CSS is designed for small-to-medium commercial solar installations and addresses a variety of needs in the commercial and industrial (C&I) markets.
Powered by SolarEdge ONE, the company’s software-based energy optimisation platform, the CSS ensures real-time optimisation of solar energy production, storage, and consumption, allowing businesses to maximise energy savings and meet sustainability targets.
The CSS-OD battery, suitable for both outdoor and indoor use, features a 102.4kWh-rated battery cabinet and a 50kW battery inverter. This scalable system can expand to a total capacity of 1MWh per site and is factory pre-assembled for quick deployment. Available for pre-order, deliveries will begin in January 2025.
The CSS-ID, designed for indoor installations, offers up to 66.6kWh of storage capacity and integrates seamlessly with SolarEdge’s three-phase inverters. This solution provides hybrid control of both the battery and solar system, making it ideal for installations with constrained grid connections, while also reducing BoS costs. The CSS-ID will be available in the UK from H2 2025.
Expanding residential solutions
SolarEdge will also showcase its latest SolarEdge Home inverter and battery at Solar & Storage Live 2024. Designed to meet the growing demand for larger residential solar+storage systems, these new offerings support full home backup solutions.
Additionally, SolarEdge will preview new integrations with third-party heat pumps and EV charging solutions, enabling UK homeowners to achieve greater control and energy savings.
