TGE Group powers E.ON energy centre

E.ON has appointed TGE Group to install a 250kWp roof system on its flagship energy centre.  The energy generated will be used to power 2,900 homes in the neighbouring village of Cranbrook, reducing carbon emissions by 82 tonnes a year.

2013 – a bumper year for wind power

Provisional statistics released today by the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) show that the amount of electricity produced by wind grew 38 percent from 2012 to 2013. In total the amount of energy generated by wind grew from 5.5 percent in the mix in 2012 to 7.7 percent in 2013.
